Mr. William R. Weston, age 70, of Weatherly, Pa., died Friday, December 5, 2008, at 60 Kline Street in Weatherly, Pa., surrounded by his family, and wife.
William was a 1957 Weatherly High School graduate. He retired as a Coremaker, from the Weatherly Foundry in 2000, after working 43 years, having he served as President of the Molders International Union.
A member of Centenary United Methodist Church of Weatherly, William was also and honorary member of the Fire Company #1 Weatherly, former member of the Penn Haven Hunting Club, and member of the Paradise Fishing Club of Weatherly.
Born in Coaldale, Pa., he was the son of the late William Weston and Marian (McLaughlin) Weston.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mrs. Sharon (Bechtel) Weston;

Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, December 8, 2008 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2008.
Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home at 11 AM Tuesday, December 9, 2008, Rev. Amy Boock officiating.
Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pa.
