William C. Moyer, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, 83 years of age of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on the 1st day July, 2022 at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania after a brief illness, with his children by his side.
William was predeceased by; his beloved wife of 56 years, Rozanne M. (Garbacik) Moyer who he loved dearly. Born into a large family of sixteen children in Hazleton on May 26, 1939, William was the son of the late Herbert and Mildred (Wedgie) Moyer. William was also predeceased by; granddaughter Sarah J. Moyer; sisters, Bernadette, Marie, Geraldine, Dolores, Betty; brothers, Calvin, Jack, George, Herbert Jr., Robert and Michael.
William is survived by; daughter, Bonita A. Moyer and her husband Glenn O'Donnell; son, William J. Moyer and his wife Lisa; granddaughter, Rebecca L. (Moyer) Ormiston and her husband Christian Ormiston; grandson, William J. Moyer Jr. and his fiancé Samantha Snyder; and great-grandson, Oliver P. Ormiston, all of Weatherly; sister, Carmella Nahay of Harwood; brothers, James Moyer and wife Patricia, Anthony Moyer and wife Wilberta, John Moyer and wife Debbie, all of Pardeesville. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive William.
William was a hard-working foundryman for more than 40 years, starting as a journeyman and working his way up to foundry foreman. He loved all sports, especially baseball. He coached Little League and Babe Ruth teams for a number of years and was an accomplished player in his youth. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf. Throughout his life, he was an avid gardener and woodworker and he enjoyed working in his garage. One of his favorite pastimes was baking homemade bread and pizza to share with his family. William was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 7, 2022 at 11 o'clock A.M. from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. 318 Pane Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania, Msgr. William Baker to officiate. Friends may call in church from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. The Rosary will be recited prior to the celebration of mass at 10:45 A.M.
Interment St. Nicholas R.C.C. Cemetery Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
