William J. Joyce, age 68, of North Street Weatherly, formerly of Philadelphia, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, peacefully at home while being cared for by his wife and children.
Survived by his wife of 30 years, Josephine F. (Branigan) Joyce.
Bill, was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly, he last worked security, after having worked for Sears for many years.
Bill served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and maintained membership in the V.F.W.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Thomas and Hannah Joyce.
He is also survived by his,
Step-children,Sandra Aragon and her husband Michael; Karen Elliss and her husband Joseph; Bonnie Dugon; and Robert Beltz and his wife Trisha
Eleven grandchildren and Three great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by a brother, Thomas; sister,Jean.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street Weatherly, Philip J. Jeffries F.D.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 23, 2012, Rev. Floyd Caesar to officiate.
Private interment.
