William C. Hoffman, Jr., 88 years of age of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
Born Monday, March 12, 1928 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania the son of the late William C. Hoffman, Sr., and Thelma (Miller) Hoffman, Bill was also predeceased by brothers, Daniel R., Robert, James, and a infant brother; companion Allen R. Lauchnor
Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Thelma Mork of Squires, MO, Mrs. Barbara Lore of Weatherly; sister-in-law, Barbara Hoffman of Weatherly, and many nieces and nephews.
Bill had served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a trained L.P.N. and talented florist having owned his own shop in Weatherly, Grammy's Flowers, and until taking ill was a designer at Blossom's & Bud's in McAdoo.
A member of St. Peter & Paul's Lutheran Church of Hazleton, Bill had played the organ and served as President of the Consistory for many years at his home church St. John's U.C.C. in Rockport until its closing.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock AM on Friday September 9, 2016 at Philip J Jeffries Funeral Home located at 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.
Friends may call Friday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
Interment with Military Honors will be in Union Cemetery, Weatherly.
