William I. Hartley III, 62 years of age, of Lansford, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem.
Widower of Rose Mary (Smothers) Hartley, William is survived by his sister, Betty Ann Hart and her husband John of Weatherly; nieces, Michele Budzik, Kelly Myer, and Joy Gregory; aunts and cousins.
Born in Hazleton, William is the son of Elizabeth (Prokopic) Hartley-Duser of Weatherly, and the late William I. Hartley II. His step father Ronald Duser also survives him.
William was a graduate of Weatherly High School.
