William R. "Duke" Koegel

William R. "Duke" Koegel, age 73, East Side Boro., White Haven, died Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Weatherwood nursing & rehabilitaion Ctr in Weatherly.

Survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Ann M. (Shema) Koegel.

Duke, retired from the Philadelphia Bulletin. He worked as a photographer for Whitewater Challengers, and at Jack Frost Mountain Ski Resort. He enjoyed skiing, and was an amature ventriloquist.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frederick and Dorothy (Sutton) Koegel.

Preceded in death by his sister, Mrs. Dolores Bennett; brothers, Richard and Charles Koegel.
