William E. "Billy" Jones, Jr.

William E. "Billy" Jones, Jr., 76 of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Salisbury Twp.. Born Friday, October 1, 1943 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania the son of the late William E. Jones, Sr. and Anna (Rothrock) Jones. Surviving are sisters, Donna Gavitt of Arizona, Patricia "Patsy"  Walton of Weatherly, Elizabeth "Betty" Smith and her husband Larry of Weatherly, Cindy Fragassi and her husband Michael of Easton; many nieces and nephews also survive Billy. Billy attended Weatherly Schools, and worked in the Laundry of Weatherwood for many years.  He was an active member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly and ardent supporter of Weatherly High School basketball attending most games. Taking long walks, reading the paper and supporting the Phillies where Billy's Hobbies. Billy loved and enjoyed children. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. A Funeral service will be at held on Wednesday January 29, 2020 at 11 o'clock  AM  from the funeral home, Rev. Sharon Frye to officiate.  Friends may call on Tuesday evening January 28, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment Union Cemetery Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
