William "Bill" A. Mckendry

Mr. William A. McKendry, age 54, of Weatherly, Pa., died Saturday, September 17, 2011, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown, Pa.

A Boston High School graduate, Bill was a trained chef having graduated from Newbury College Culinary School. Prior to his illness, he managed many restaurants, having worked at Papa Gino's in Massachusetts for many years.

Bill loved golf, cooking, and yearly trips to Wildwood New Jersey with his family.

Born in Boston, he is the son of Anne (Punchard) McKendry of Marshfield, Mass., and the late Robert McKendry.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Dorothy E. (Valkos) McKendry;

Two Brothers,
Allan McKendry and his wife Marie of Plymounth, Mass., Timothy McKendry of Wareham, Mass.;

Three grandchildren, Analiese Rowan, Pete, and Krystal Sarofeen;

Preceded in death by his brother, Robert McKendry.
