Willard A. Dreisbach, Sr., 100 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, died Saturday March 1, 2014 at the home of his daughter in Doswell Va.
Widower of Pauline B. (Rex) Dreisbach, who died on April 24, 2000.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Willard had worked for the former L.C.&N and Bethlehem Mines. He was an accomplished carpenter having worked on the Palmerton cantilever on route 248. Willard, along with his wife, raised over 1,000,000 chickens on their farm in West Penn Twp.
Willard was a member of Christ Evangelical Free Church of Lehighton.
Born in West Penn Twp., he was the son of the late Amandus and Irene (Eberts ) Dreisbach.

Wendy E. Snow wife of David of Doswell , VA.;
Sons,
Willard A. Dreisbach, Jr. and his wife Diane of Schodack Landing, NY, and
Paul B. Dreisbach of Tamaqua;
5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren also survived him.
Preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Frey.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, PA.
Funeral Service will be Saturday March 8, 2014 at 11 o'clock A.M from Christ Evangelical Free Church 2420 Blakeslee Blvd. Lehighton, Pa. 18235, Rev. Greg Laible to officiate.
Friends shall be received from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be at Christ Evangelical Free Church Cemetery, Lehighton, Pa.
