Wayne C. Arndt, age 76, of Archery Club Rd.,New Ringgold, died Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Schuylkill Medical Center East in Pottsville.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marlene T. (Schellhammer) Arndt.
Wayne had been employed by the former Zulick Shoe Factory of Orwigsburg and he retired from Progressive Machine of Hamburg as a forklift operator.
He was an Army Veteran.
Born in Kempton, he was the son of the late Clafford and Margaret Arndt.
He is also survived by his

Lori D (Arndt) Sock wife of William of New Ringgold.
Preceded in death by his son, Ronald "Ronnie" Wayne Arndt who passed in 1998; brother, Clifford Arndt; sister, Jean Breiner.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Friday, November 9, 2012 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 11 o'clock AM at the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Reverend Michael Frost to officiate.
Interment will be at Zion Stone Church Cemetery of West Penn.
