Walter Yost

Mr. Walter Yost, age 76, formerly of New Ringgold, now a resident of Woodbridge Road Orwigsburg, died Saturday, January 1, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in, Pottsville.

A farmer for 20 years, Walter retired from Tam-Pallet of Lehighton, having worked as a truck driver.

Walter, was a member of Christ Church of McKeansburg, and belonged to the Lewistown Grange.

Born in Barnesville, he was the son of the late George and Blanche (Huber) Yost.

He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Marguerite (Mengel) Zeigler-Yost of Orwigsburg;

Three Daughters,
Sheryl (Yost) Yost of Islamorada, Fla.,
Step Daughters, Denise (Zeigler) Huggins wife of Scott of Lititz,
Doloris E. (Zeigler) Schapitl of Centre Valley;

One Son,
Tom Yost and his wife Sallie of New Ringgold, Pa.

Two Sisters,
Phyllis (Yost) Webb wife of Jessie of Hillsboro, N.J.,
Muriel (Yost) Wehr of Grier City;

One Brother,
Richard Yost and his wife Arlene of Tamaqua;

Four grandchildren
Four great-grandchildren;

Preceded in death by his brothers, Jack, William, and Robert Yost; sisters, Mrs. Faye Meixell, Mrs. Fern Krijcher, and Mrs. Dorothy Palansky.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, Snyders Village, New Ringgold, Pa.,

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Friday, January 7, 2011, from Christ Church of McKeansburg, Six South Race Street (McKeansburg) New Ringgold, Pa. 17960.

Funeral service will be at Christ Church of McKeansburg at 11:00 AM Friday, January 7, 2011, Rev. Sunny Stock officiating.

Interment will be at Christ Union Cemetery of McKeansburg in New Ringgold, Pa.
