Walter J. O'Donnell, Sr.

Walter J O'Donnell, Sr., age 73, of Arlington St., Tamaqua, PA, died Thursday, February 13, 2014, at home.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth (Barron) O'Donnell, on 11-2-2007.
Walter had been employed by Curtis J Bailey as a Finish Carpenter for 40 plus years, retiring in 2004.
He was a member of St John UCC. of Tamaqua.
Walter was a Nesquehoning High School and Steven's Trade School graduate.
He was an avid bowler, having participated in many leagues and the National Tournament Bowl yearly. Walter also enjoyed golf and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a model train enthusiast.
He is survived by his
One Daughter:
Sandy L Dunstan of Tamaqua;
One Son:
Walter J O'Donnell, Jr. and his wife Diane of New Ringgold;
Five Grand Children,
Kayla, Sarah, E.J., Ryan and his wife Courtney, and Matthew;
Three Great-Grand Children,
Carter, Colby and Brinley.
Preceded in death by his infant son, Brian Scott.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Monday, February 17, 2014 from 6-8 PM and on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 10-11 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 11 o'clock AM from the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Reverend Kevin Duffy-Guy to officiate.
Interment at Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
