Mrs. Violet Dunkelberger, 83yrs of age of 82 Lincoln Drive Tamaqua, Pa. died Thursday October 6, 2005 in Bethlehem, Pa. Violet had been married to her husband of 64 years William C. Dunkelberger. They're the parents to sons; William, Kenneth, & David, grandparents to Eleven Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren. Sisters Mrs. Hazel Clarke and MRs. Mary Hirsch, and a brother Edward Llewellyn survive Violet, while she has been preceded in death by a Brother Kenneth.
Active in the Primitive Methodist Church of Tamaqua, she served in the Missionary Society, Ladies Aide and taught Sunday School. A 1940 Tamaqua High School grad were she was a member of the Drum & Bugle Corp., Violet was Class Secretary and maintained that roll while planning reunions for her class. Her devotion to Tamaqua High School continued thru her support of Tamaqua athletics while watching her grandchildren compete for her Almamater.
