Vincent A. Kubilus

Mr. Vincent A. Kubilus, age 89, formerly of Freenad, recently of Bath, Pa., died Friday, July 16, 2010, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, Pa.
A Freeland High School graduate, and accomplished basketball player, Vincent served in the United States Coast Guard during WWII.
He retired from Garland Industries of Freeland, and was a 62 yr. member of the Freeland American Legion.
Born in Freeland the son of the late Vincent, and Magdalena (Vojciechauskiuta) Kubilus.
He is survived by;
A Daughter,
Phyllis (Kostic) Searfoss wife of Carey of Bath;
Five grandchildren;
Thirteen great grandchildren
Seven nieces, and nephews;
Preceded in death by his wife on July 1, 2009, Stella (Kostick) Kubilus; sisters, Mary Kubilus, Catherine Apanovich, Anna Moskunas
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffreis F.D./sup.,
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. 314 Plane Street Weatherly, Pa. 18255.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. at 12:00 PM Wednesday, July 21, 2010, Rev. Floyd Caesar officiating.
Interment with Military Honors will be at St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery of McAdoo.
