Verna I (Edmonds) Campbell, age 73, of Rowe St., Tamaqua, died Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at home surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard F. Campbell.
Verna was a member of Primitive United Methodist Church, Tamaqua.
She had previously worked at Atlas Powder and J.E. Morgans Knitting Mills.
A 1961 Tamaqua Area High School graduate, she enjoyed doing ceramics and taking long walks.
Born in Tamaqua 9/26/1943, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edmonds and the late Verna (Powers) Edmonds.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 11, 2017.
Memorial Service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 11, 2017, Reverend Rodney Hall to officiate.
Interment will be at Sky- View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
