Antonio (Tony) Eugene Rodrigue II, age 61, of Railroad St., Tamaqua, died Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at his home.
He was self-employed and very active in the community and with various local charities.
Mr. Rodrigue was Chairman of the Tamaqua City Planning Commission and also served on the Board of the Tamaqua Historic Architectural Review Commission.
Born in Skowhegan, Maine, he was the son of the late Antonio Rodrigue and the late Lillian (Turcotte) Rodrigue-Collcott.
He is survived by his
Sisters,
Patricia Dougherty wife of Mike of Tamaqua and
Ruth Lewis wife of Bob;
Brothers,
David and Robert Rodrigue;
Several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
Preceded in death by his life partner, Dick Pfoertsch, Jr. on 12-30-2009; and sister-in-law, Eileen Rodrigue.
All friends are invited to join the family for a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, October 30th at 6:00pm at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, PA, where private arrangements have been entrusted.
