Thomas was a member of St. Matthew’s Union Church of Weatherly. He retired from the Hometown Depot of United Parcel Service after 30 years of driving tractor trailers. He was an amateur CB radio operator and his semi-driver companions knew him by his handle “Brown Jug.” Tom and Mary operated a small business, T&M Sales, from their home for many years. Tom was a talented mechanic and a Ford Mustang enthusiast who enjoyed drag racing. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and would take his children on memorable “day vacations” on the bike.
Thomas adored his family and cherished family gatherings where lifelong happy memories were made. He also loved animals and enjoyed the companionship of his beloved dog Tippy and cat Boots. He had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor that will be greatly missed.
