Thomas A. Miller, 86 years of age a lifelong resident of West Penn Township, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at The Palmerton in Palmerton, Pennsylvania.
Born Sunday, August 22,1937 in West Penn Township, the son of the late George, and Jeannie (Middlecamp) Miller. Tom was also predeceased by; his beloved wife, Barbara A. (Wehr) Miller on Sept. 27, 2001; grandson, Jacob T. "Jakey" Troxell; sisters, Gladys Wehr, Arlene Hontz, Joyce Peters, Madeline Zellner, Edith Fritzinger, Beatrice Yates; brothers, Lester, Murland, Raymond, and George Miller.
Surviving are son, Bruce A. Miller of Tamaqua; daughter, Sandy A. Troxell wife of Leon of Andreas; grandchildren, Nikolas Heck and his companion Caitlin, Cloyd T. Troxell and his wife Megan, Steven J. Troxell and his companion Tracey Chickilly, Evan S. Troxell, Nadine A. Galloway and her husband Christopher, Samantha A. Troxell, Eden A.M. Troxell and her companion Jeremy Yeakley, Susan C. Troxell and her husband Teddy Zeigler; great grandchildren Temperance, Harmony, Wes, Hunter, Jayce. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive Tom.
Tom worked for Remmey Pallet of Normal Square for over 58 years, where he was responsible for fixing equipment as well as manufacturing parts and equipment to help the plant run more efficiently. Tom also farmed his family farm in West Penn Twp and delivered firewood to many area residents. He was a talented accordion player and would play with a trio of men at weddings, picnics, and social events throughout the area. Tom ran with the Mahoning Ambulance and Fire Company for many years as a driver. Tom enjoyed the companionship of his cats.

A Funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday January 30, 2024 at 11 o'clock A.M. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
