Thomas V. Cummings

Thomas V. Cummings, age 82, of Penn Drive, West Penn Twp., Tamaqua, died Thursday, November 22, 2012, being cared for by his wife of 60 years, Lilian (Prescott) Cummings.

Thomas graduated from high school in Liverpool, UK., and then matriculated to trade school in the UK.

Tom, served in Merchant Marines from 16 yrs. of age until he was 25 yrs. of age in England. Upon his discharge he came to America in July of 1957.

Thomas, owned Towaco Beach Club of NJ., and Lakeland Getty of Boonton, NJ., before, beginning his true calling as a cabnet maker and tradesman.

Tom enjoyed working on his home.

He was a member of the Church of England.

Born in Liverpool, UK., he was the son of the late, Victor E., and Alice (Winstanley) Cummings.

Thomas is also survived by;

Susan (Cummings) Angelo wife of John of Dobbs Fairy, N.Y.;

One Son,
Stephen T. Cummings and his wife Barbara of Lake Hiawatha, N.J.;

Myra (Cummings) Street of Norfolk, UK,
Beryl (Cummings) Stewart of Isle of Wright, UK,
Marian Cummings of Texas;

Two Brothers,
Donald Cummings and his wife Dorothy of West Nyack, N.Y.,
David Cummings and his wife Joan of Lehighton, Pa.;

Four grandchildren, Lesley, Jennifer, Nicole, and Stephanie;
Two great-grandchildren, Alexander, and Lilana.
