Thomas A. Blonsky, husband, father, and brother, age 65, of East Elm Street Tamaqua, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, in Tamaqua.
Survived by his wife of 35 years, Jeanne M. (Murphy) Blonsky.
A 1965 Tamaqua High School graduate, Tom went to work immediately after graduation for Packaging Corporation of America in Trexlertown, working 40 plus years.
A member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Tom had served as Fire Chief of the East End Fire Company.
A gun enthusiast, Tom enjoyed hunting and target shooting.
Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Praskac) Blonsky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday March 4, 2013 at 11 o'clock A.M. from SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C., 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Rev. William Linkchorst to officiate.
Friends shall be received on Monday March 4, 2013 at the E. Franklin Griffiths F.H., Inc. from 9:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
