Theresa F. Hadzick

Mrs. Theresa F. (Lukatch) Hadzick, age 80, of Weatherly, Pa., died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at Hazleton General Hospital in Hazleton, Pa.

A homemaker, Theresa was a 1947 Hazleton High School graduate. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly, and very active in organizing the church festival.

Theresa was a member of the Citizens Fire Co. Ladies Aux. of Weatherly, and was and avid bowler belongng to the Hazleton leagues.

Bon in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Mary (Dzanovski) Lukatch.

She is survived by her

Patricia (Hadzick) Scholler wife of Joe of Weatherly;

Michael "Buckwheat" Hadzick of Weatherly,
Paul J. Hadzick of Weatherly,
Edward Hadzick and his wife Nancy of Peachtree, Ga.;

Martha (Lukatch) Minnig of New Jersey,
Agnes (Lukatch) Reed of Freeland,
Helen (Lukatch) Kringer of Hazleton,
Anna (Lukatch) Geary of Plains,
Dorothy (Lukatch) Harms wife of Frank of Levittown;

Twenty grandchildren
Five great-grandchildren;

Preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 15, 1983, Paul Hadzick; son Robert who died March 9, 2005; brothers, John, Leo, Edward, Peter, and Emil Lukatch; sisters, Mrs. Mary Gaughan, Mrs. Margaret Zabrosky.

Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries F.d./Sup.,

The family will receive friends, Tuesday evening from 6 to 8:00 PM from the Philip J. Jeffries F.H. 211 First Street Weatherly, Pa., and from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. 318 Plane St. Weatherly, Pa. 18255.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2009, Rev. Floyd Ceasar officiating.

Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Weatherly
