Steve Pispeky

Mr. Steve Pispeky, age 79, of East Ridge Street Lansford, Pa., died upon arrival Sunday, December 2, 2007, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, Pa.

Born in Lansford, PA., he was the son of the late Frank and Josephine (Studenc) Pispeky.

A graduate of Lansford High School, Steve served in the United States Navy during WWII. Having earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University he worked for General Electric Corp.

Upon retirement, from Genral Electric, Steve did volunteer work at a reservation in South Dakota. He then attended seminary and served a mission church in Ramah New Mexico, for ten years.

Mrs. Josephine (Pispeky) Warner wife of Edmund of Papillion, NE
Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" (Pispeky) Werner wife of Donald of Sellersville, Pa.

One Brother,
Mr. Mahlon Pispeky and his wife Ruth of Springfield, Va.

Six Nieces, and Three nephews

Preceded in death by brothers, Frank, John, Joe, and Micahel Pispeky; sisters, Mary and Anna Pispeky.

Private arrangements are being handled by Holmes - Griffiths Funeral Home Inc., 200 E. Bertsch Str, Lansford, Pa..

Interment will be at Grand Army Cemetery in Summit Hill, Pa.
