Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late Demetrius Melnick and the late Anna (Ferki) Melnick.
He is survived by his
Children, Stephen & timothy Melnic; daughter, Beth Ann Katy
brother, Frank Melnick and his wife Catherine of Tamaqua.
Preceded in death by his brothers, Michael and George and John Melnick who died 1-6-2010; sisters, Helen Weiley and Mary Lazalere.
