Stephen J. Lazar

Stephen J. Lazar, age 55, of Beaver Meadows, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton Campus.

Born in Reading on May 30, 1959, he is survived by his mother with whom he resided Joan (Henn) Lazar.

Stephen is also survived by;

Sisters,
Cindy Lazar of Hazleton,
Sharon Lazar, and
Sheila Lazar both of Beaver Meadows;

Brothers:
Brian S. Lazar, Sr. and his wife Mary of Beaver Meadows,
John Lazar and his companion Ann Grula of Weatherly;

Many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews survive Stephen.

Stephen enjoyed drawing pictures, picking huckleberries, listening to country music, collecting trains and shoveling snow for the elderly in Beaver Meadows.

Preceded in death by his father, John Stephen Lazar; brother, Bruce Lazar.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 15, 2014 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18252.

A Gathering of Friends will take place on Tuesday evening from the funeral home 6 to 8:00 P.M., and on Wednesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.

Interment will be at SS. Peter & Paul Byzantine Cemetery, Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania.
