Stephen J. Dawson, 54 years of age of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton Campus in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
Survived by is wife of seventeen years, Nancy L. (Zink) Dawson; son, David E. Slezak and his wife Kim of Jamison, PA, ; daughter, Gina Hoppes wife of Jeffrey of Weatherly; sisters, Kate Garkut wife of John and Jacquie Palmer wife of Michael both residing in Australia; grand children, Talya, Tatiana and his special girl Alexa.
Stephen has worked as an information systems technician for Lehigh Valley Hospital System at their Hazleton Campus for sixteen years. He enjoyed computers and metal working.
Born Monday, February 13, 1961 in Canberra, Australia the son of Peter and Ilse (Brunswick) Dawson.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation services of 211 First street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.
A Memorial service will be at 11 o'clock AM on Wednesday February 10, 2016 from the funeral home.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at the funeral home.
Interment at Union Cemetery Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
