Sophia Milot

Sophia (Lincovich) Milot, age 98, of Brockton, Pa., died Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Seton Manor in Orwigsburg, with her family by her side.

Sophia was an active member of the former St. Bartholomew's R.C.C. of Brockton, having worked many hours cleaning the church and attending to altar preparation, and pastoral vestments. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society of the church.

Having attended Brockton elementary school, Sophia worked for the former Guran's Mill of Brockton.

Born in Kaska, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Seginak) Lincovich.

She is survived by her

Patricia Milot of Springfield, Va.,
Ann (Milot) Packard and her late husband Bob of San Antonio, Texas,
Margaret (Milot) Schilcher wife of Dennis of Ft. Worth, Texas;

Four Sons,
James Milot and his wife Donna of Brockton,
Thomas Milot and his wife Audrey of Brockton,
David Milot and his wife Kimberly of Lakewood, Calif.,
William Milot and his wife Karen of Yorktown, Va.;

Twenty Two grandchildren
Sixteen great-grandchildren
Six great-great grandchildren;

Nieces and nephews;

Preceded in death by her husband in 2000, William Milot; infant children, Bill, and Mary Milot; brothers, George, and Andrew Lincovich; sisters, Kathryn Lincovich, Annie Milot, Helen Shedlock, Susie Hyromyak, Mary Lincovich, and Martha Stremick.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2012 and from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM Thursday, January 19, 2012.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. at 10 o'clock A.M. Thursday, January 19, 2012, Rev. William Linkchorst to officiate.

Interment, St. Bartholomews R.C.C. Cemetery of Brockton.
