Shirley I. (Boyer) Parrish, mother, grandmother, and sister, age 76, of Tamaqua, died Thursday, August 16, 2012, surrounded by her family in Tamaqua.
Widow of Gene A. Parrish, who died on January 24, 2010.
A member of the Primitive Methodist Church of Tamaqua, Shirely retired from the former J. E. Morgan Knitting Mill of Hometown. She was an avid Bingo player.
Born in Coaldale, the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma (Gould) Boyer.
She is survived by her,

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, August 20, 2012.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 21, 2012, Rev. Rodney Hall to officiate.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
