Shirley I. Miller

Shirley I. Miller, 85 years of age, beloved mother, adored grandmother, sister, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the home of her daughter Lesa in Tamaqua.

Born Tuesday, November 26, 1935 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Clarence, and Anna (Reinert) Moyer. Shirley was also predeceased by; her husband of 58 years, George J. Miller on June 28, 2011; daughter, Georgine A Miller passed in 1956; son, Clarence "Chick" Miller passed in 2005; sister, Kathryn Miller; brother, Lawrence Moyer; deceased nephew LeRoy Miller; grand daughter, Kayla Ann Marie Miller.

Surviving are; daughters, Georgette Nelson wife of Alan of Roseta, Lesa L. Miller and her wife Traci Miller of Tamaqua with whom Shirley resided, Tabitha A. Jones wife of Ryan of Portland, Or.; sons, Calvin C. Miller and Melissa of Tamaqua, Lawrence E. Miller and his wife Tionie of Sunbury, Andrew J. Miller and his wife Margaret of Tamaqua, Kevin L. Miller and his companion Mark Cassel of Tamaqua; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Mary Ann Miller; nieces, and nephews, Lila Christ, Danny, Lenny, and Diamond Moyer

A member of Bethany E.C.C. of Tamaqua, Shirley had worked at Heisler's Dairy in the Lewistown Valley for many years. She was an excellent baker, and cook.
