Shirley W. Henne, 91 years of age of Yetten Circle, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at home.
Widow of Robert Lewis Henne who passed away on August 19, 1989, she is survived by; sons, Robert Harry Henne and his wife Carrie of Beach Park , IL and Mark John Henne and his wife Alison of Coaldale; daughter, Susan B. Kachelries wife of the late Mahlon of Tamaqua; 4 grand children; 9 great grand children.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, Shirley retired from the former Atlas Powder Co. of Reynolds. She was a member of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua and enjoyed playing Bingo.
Born Sunday, November 1, 1925 the daughter of the late Harry, and Effie (Schoffstall) Weston. She was also predeceased by sisters. Mrs. Elizabeth Oswald, Mrs. Galdys Wade, Mrs. Doris Fetterman, and Mrs. Fern Gibas.

A Funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock AM on Saturday December 10, 2016 from the funeral home., Rev. Darryl Kensinger to officiate.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 655 E Broad Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
