Shirely Jean Rohde

Shirley Jean Burrell Rohde, 101, formerly from Barnesville Pennsylvania passed away peacefully December 8 2022 at The Retreat in Jasper Georgia.
Born Oct 9 1921 in Detroit Michigan she was the widow of James Rohde who preceded her in death in April 1993. Prior to her marriage in 1944, Shirley worked at JL Hudson motor company in Detroit
They have three children, James Rohde of Hinesburg VT married to Kathy Marrier Rohde, Susan Downs Devine, of Jasper Ga, and Ron Rohde of Tuscarora PA married to Lynne Theobold Rohde.
Together they had five grandchildren, Sarah, Jessica and Rachel in VT, Christopher James in PA and Max Downs in GA, and four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Levi and Isaac Russell and Anna Psaros .
Shirley was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed travel and shopping, cooking great meals, and spending time with her family.

A Funeral Services will be held on Friday December 16, 2022 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home. Friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Services.
