Mrs. Sharon A. (Jaso) Stalgaitis, age 48, of Owl Creek Tamaqua, Pa., died Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem, Pa. .
Born in Palmerton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Butler) Jaso.
Sharon was a 1977 Marian High School graduate, and earned her B.S. in Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University. Sharon was a substitute teacher for a number of local school ditricts. She formerly coached Girl's Volleyball for Panther Valley High School, and Tamaqua Area High School, she was a former Head Girls Basketball coach at Jim Thopre High School. Sharon was active in the Tamaqua Little League Association, coaching Biddy League and Little League, while her son Billy played. She shared her late husbands passion as a member of the Tamaqua Pigeon Flying Club, and presently served as Treasurer of the Owl Creek Community Park. Sharon was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, PA.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2007, and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Saturday November 17, 2007.
A Mass of Chritian Burial will be at SS Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church at 1:30 PM Sat., November 17, 2007 , Rev. William Linkchorst officiating.
Interment in the SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. Cemtery, , Tamaqua, Pa.
