Sharon R (McCarroll) Goho, loving mother and devoted grandmother, age 59, of E. Union St., Tamaqua, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at home.
She was the widow of Robert W. Goho who passed away 12-20-1995.
Sharon retired from Sovereign Bank where she held the position of Head Teller.
She was a 1971 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and she attended Empire Beauty School of Pottsville.
Sharon was an avid reader, she enjoyed being Nanna to her four grandchildren and she was a Notre Dame fan.
Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late John McCarroll and Rose Marie (Tracy) McCarroll who resides in Tamaqua.
Surviving in addition to her mother are
Three Daughters,
Pamela A and Ashley R. Goho of Tamaqua and Dawn M Huggins and her husband Lesroy of Kansas City, MO;
Two Sisters,
Rosie Marie Warner wife of Paul of Andreas and Linda D McCarroll
wife of Steve Naylor of Tamaqua;
Six Brothers,
Thomas C McCarroll and his wife Michele; Jerome J McCarroll and his wife Adele; Clem J McCarroll and his wife Pam; Mark S McCarroll and his companion Alli Brizuela; Frank J McCarroll and his wife Stephanie all of Tamaqua and Jim D McCarroll and his wife Sarah of Swiftwater;
Four grandchildren,
Brandon, Sierra, Amara and Bryce;
Many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts and Uncles.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Rose Goho in 1978; brother, John McCarroll, Jr. in 1981.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2013 from 6-8 PM and on Monday, October 14, 2013 from 10-11 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Reverend Marjorie Keiter to officiate.
Interment at Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Tamaqua.
Memorials in her honor may be sent to American Cancer Society Carbon-Tamaqua Unit 101 W. Frock St., Frackville, PA 17931.
