Salvador J. Sposato, longtime Weatherly Post Master of 30 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2021, in Zion Grove, Pennsylvania at the home of his daughter Diana at 88 years of age.
Born Thursday, October 6, 1932 in Kelayres, Pennsylvania. the son of the late Nicholas, and Philomena (Aita) Sposato. He was also predeceased by; son, Nicholas J. Sposato; sisters, Mary Muscavitch, Josephine DiBlasi, Nicholine Olivero; brother, Bruno Sposato.
Surviving are; his beloved wife of 64 years, Bernadine A. (Fadden) Sposato; son, John T. Sposato of Weatherly; daughters, Diana M. Pfeiffer and her husband Brian of Zion Grove, Mary Beth Paulshock wife of David of Florida; sister, Veronica Kollesar; grandchildren, Angelo Pfeiffer, Gina Evancho, Olivia Sposato, Jordan Paulshock; great grandchildren, Avery, and Anderson Pfeiffer.
A graduate of Hazleton High School, Salvador served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon returning Home Salvador enrolled at LaSalle University in the Roxboro section of Philadelphia, earning his B.S. in Mathematics graduating in 1963. Salvador taught school for 5 years until beginning his tenure with the United States Post Office retiring as Postmaster of the Weatherly Post Office.
A member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly, Salvador was a hunter, enjoyed tinkering on cars, even if they didn't need to be fixed, and Notre Dame Football. Never short of hobbies they all came second to his call to family. Salvador adored his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was extremely proud of his Italian Heritage.

A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly, Pennsylvania. Interment in St. Nicholas R.C.C. Cemetery with Military Honors bestowed.
