Miss Ruth Eleanor Walton, age 93, of Palmerton, Pa., died Sunday, November 24, 2013, at Tranquil Living in Palmerton, Pa.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lansford.
A 1938 Lansford High School graduate, Ruth had worked for the former Lehigh Coal & Navigation Co., and then as an I.B.M. Supervisor for Machine Accounting.
Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late William Walton and the late Sara Jane (Maurer) Walton.
She is survived by her niece, Donna Pittman wife of John of Bath, Pa.;
Two Great-Nieces,
Kristen Walsh wife of Matt of Slatington and Trisha Santelli wife of Kevin of Sewickley, Pa.;
Great Great-Nephew,
Quinn Santelli.
Preceded in death by her sister, Mrs Blanche Errett.
Arrangements are being handled by Holmes-Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, Pa. where the family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 10-11 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at the Holmes-Griffiths Funeral Home, Pastor Roy Koehler to officiate.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
