Ruth Elmira (Haas) Reed, 87 years of age of Mush Dahl Road New Ringgold, passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2014 suddenly at home.
Widow of Oliver Charles Reed who died in 1983.
A member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Andreas, where she had been the pianist for many years. Ruth taught piano to over 250 students. Ruth enjoyed doing word search puzzles.
Born Friday, October 28, 1927 in Andreas, the daughter of the late Clarence and Eva (Moyer) Haas.
Surviving are daughter,
Lonnie L. (Reed) Dermo of New Ringgold;
Three grandchildren,
Robin L. Dermo and his wife Marie, Lee F. Dermo, and Anatoly M. Dermo;
Two great grand children,
Isabella, and Giavanna.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike, Rte.# 309 New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960.
A Funeral service will be at 12 o'clock Noon on Saturday, March 7, 2015 from the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Rev. Gary Snyder to officiate.
A Gathering of Friends shall take place at the funeral home from 9:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in West Penn Evangelical Cemetery.
