Mrs. Ruth T (Hinkle) Meiser-Postupack, age 87, of Packer Road Weatherly, Pa., died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Aria Hospital Torresdale Campus in Philadelphia.
A member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly, Ruth, was a homemaker and had worked in the Textile Industry.
Born in Packer Twp., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Theresa (Romanchick) Hinkle.
She is survived by her
One Daughter,
Ruthann (Meiser) Garra wife of George of Weatherly;
Two Sons,
Dr. James T. Postupack and his wife Julia of Holland, Pa.,
Thomas J. Postupack and his wife Lori, and David of Bensalem, Pa.;
Two Sisters,
Mrs. Helen (Hinkle) Burke wife of Walter of Weatherly,
Mrs. Evelyn (Hinkle) Sheer of Drums;
Two Brothers,
John Hinkle and his wife Dorothy, Robert Hinkle both of Weatherly;
Two grandchildren, Jessica Postupack, and Matthew Postupack, and his wife Tabitha;
Nieces, and nephews;
Preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Meiser, Jr., who died in action during WWII in Italy on April 16, 1945, her second husband, John Postupack, who died on Nov. 13, 1984; grandchild, Kristin Postupack; brothers, Edward, and William Hinkle; sister, Mrs. Frances Harahush.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries F.D./Sup., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2011 and from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM Thursday, June 30, 2011.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Loudes R.C.C. at 11 o'clock AM Thursday, June 30, 2011, Rev. Floyd Caesar officiating.
Interment will be at St. Matthew's Cemetery of Weatherly.
