Widow of Howard Johnson, II who died in 1994.
A Hazle Twp. High School graduate, Ruth was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly, where she served on consistory and was active in the Women's Fellowship.
Born in Jeanesville, she was the daughter of the late William and Jean (Muirhead) Bevans.
She is survived by her

Rebecca (Johnson) Cosgrey wife of John of Ontario, Canada;
Two Sons,
Howard Johnson III of Hazleton,
George W. Johnson and his wife Rosalie of Weatherly;
Two grandchildren
Three great-grandchildren;
Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Marion Lewis, Mrs. Anna Jackson, Mrs. Jean Cook, Mrs. Margaret Jacoby, and Mrs. Louise Patterson; brothers, Calvin, and Lewis Bevans; grandson, Howard B. Johnson IV.
