Mrs. Ruth I (Montz) Hunsinger, age 95, of Weatherly, Pa., died Friday, October 1, 2010, at Weatherwood Nursing Home in Weatherly.
Ruth was a homemaker and a former member of Diamond United Methodist Church of Hazleton.
Born in Weatherly, she was the daughter of the late William Montz and the late Julia (Bray) Montz.
She is survived by her
two sons, C. Earl Hunsinger, Jr of Hazleton and Kenneth E. Hunsinger of Raleigh, NC
one Brother,
Emerson Montz of Weatherly
five grandchildren
thirteen great-grandchildren
four great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband in 1996, C. Earl Hunsinger, Sr.; brothers, Calvin, Walter, William, Harold, Philip, Kenneth and Lewis Montz; sisters, Mary Morrison, Letha Gerhard, Anna Hollick and Mildred Meyers.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries, F.D./Supervisor.
Private graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pa. at the convenience of the family. Reverend Amy Boock officiating.
