Ruth Isabelle (Weber) Huhn, age 103, of Weatherly, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Weatherwood Nursing Home, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
She was the widow of Frederick Rose Huhn who passed away in 1983.
Ruth was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly, where she had been a choir member, a Salem quilter, a consistory member, an assistant organist, a women's fellowship member and a Sunday school teacher.
After graduating from Weatherly High School, Ruth was employed at the Read & Lovatt silk mill in Weatherly. She was also employed as a secretary at Tung Sol Electric, Weatherly.
Born in Brooklyn, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late William Weber and the late Jennie V. (Witmer) Weber.
She is survived by her
Nephews,
Louis V. Romano and his wife Mary Ann of Weatherly;
Paul William Romano and his wife Stephanie of Effort.
Many nieces, and Nephews also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Leo Weber; sisters, Martha J. Romano and Mary Marusak.
Private Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 211 First Street , Weatherly, PA
Private Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Weatherly.
