Ruth Ann

Ruth Ann (Hess) Underwood, mother, grandmother, and sister, age 69, of Orwigsburg, died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Seton Manor in Orwigsburg.

A Blue Mountain High School graduate, Ruth Ann managed the Toy Department at Boscov's in Pottsville for many years.

She was a member of Christ Church of McKeansburg.

Born in Allentown the daughter of the late Norman and Betty (Knadler) Hess.

She is survived by;

Bob Hess and his wife Terry, New Ringgold, PA

Five Grand Children, Nicole, Katelyn, Cydney, Tyler, and Zachary;

Preceded in death by a brother, Howard Hess.

Funeral service will be at Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2014, Rev. Sunny Stock to officiate.

Friends may call Friday evening July 11, 2014 from 6 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Christ Church Cemetery, McKeansburg, Pa ,
