Mr. Rudolph B Cipko, age 93, of Penn Street Tamaqua, Pa., died Friday, January 7, 2011, at Schuylkill Medical Center East in Pottsville.
A member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Rudolph had worked for the #8 Breaker in Coaldale.
Born in Coaldale, he was the son of the late Joseph, and Maria (Urbanec) Cipko.
He is survived by,
Two Daughters,
Jeanette (Cipko) Gimbor wife of James of Fleetwood,
Geraldine Cipko of Tamaqua;
Three Sons,
Rudy J. Cipko of Pottsville,
David B. Cipko, and his wife Marion of Tamaqua,
Thomas J. Cipko and his wife Linda of Lemoyne;
Seven grandchildren
Fifteen great-grandchildren;
Preceded in death by his wife, Anna M. (Ciorlanti) Cipko on April 9, 1997; brothers, Edward, John, William, Bernard, Stephen, Michael, Frank, and Joseph Cipko; sisters, Mrs. Mary Sloboda, and Mrs. Margaret Martin.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 11, 2011.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jerome R.C.C. at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 11, 2011, Rev. Ron Jankaitis to celebrate.
Interment will be at St. Jerome R.C.C. Cemetery in Tamaqua.
