Roy H Kunkle, age 81, died Sunday, September 23, 2012, at St Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital in Coaldale.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred I. (Purviance) Kunkle, on 9-7-2009.
He had previously been employed by S Butler County School District.
He was an Army Veteran.
Roy was a graduate of Freeport High School and was a member of the VFW and Saxonburgh Vol. Fire Dept. - EMT.
Born in Lower Burrel, Pa., he was the son of the late Claude Kunkle and the late Ruby (Hawk) Kunkle.
He is survived by his
Three Daughters,
Karry Houser, Karen Christian and Patricia Hovis
One Son,
Roy Kunkle, Jr.
Two Sisters,
Faye Toy and Irene Hannum
Two Brothers,
Harold and Robert Kunkle
Four grandchildren
Destiny Gurner, Dylan Gurner, Jada Houser and William Hovis.
Preceded in death by his son, Robert "Doc" Kunkle.
