Roy H. Krell, Sr.

Roy H. Krell, Sr., of Penn Street, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 in Pottsville.
Survived by his wife of forty-four years, M. Jeanne (Buhl) Krell; Son, Roy H. Krell, Jr. and his wife Angelina of Cranesville, Pa.; daughter, Kimberly (Krell) Schroeder wife of Scott of Farmington, Mich.; sister, Mrs. Mary Brannun of Tamaqua; grandchildren, Matthew, Hunter, and Aubrey Krell, Ethan, and Daniel Schroeder. Many nieces, and nephews also survive Roy.
Roy had worked at the former Atlas Powder for over thirty-eight years, retiring as a lead man. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and running his bird dogs.
Born in Tamaqua the son of the late George F., and Eva (Sparr) Krell, he was also predeceased by sisters, Mrs. Constance Henry, Miss Carol Krell; brothers, Donald E. Krell, John Krell, Oliver Krell, George Krell, and Charles Krell, and Robert Krell.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. of 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
