Mrs. Rose C (Cowell) Wargula, age 88, of Weatherly, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Weatherwood Nursing Home.
Rose was the widow of Gabriel Wargula who passed away in 2003.
She was a member of the Weatherly Legion Auxiliary Post 360 and the Whitehaven VFW.
Rose had previously worked for Tung-Sol of Weatherly.
She had attended Weatherly High School.
Born in Clinton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles Cowell and the late Leah (Tomb) Cowell.
She is survived by her
Sister,
Patricia Eroh of Weatherly;
Brother,
Charles Cowell and his wife Dolores of Sun City, FL;
Brother-in-law,
Edward Wargula of Aliquippa, PA;
Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by her brother, James Cowell; sister, Ethel Gerhard.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, Philip J. Jeffries, F.D. Supervisor where the family will receive friends on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 9:30-11:00 AM.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11 o'clock AM at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, Pastor Fredericka Beauchard to officiate.
Interment at Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
