Shan worked as a home health aide for many years, until taking care of her mother. An animal lover, she enjoyed the companionship of her dog Duke, while playing the online game "Hay Day" with friends throughout the United States, and Canada. Her favorite movie was “The Wizard of Oz” in which she collected memorabilia from this classic movie. She enjoyed Nascar racing and was a huge fan of Dale Earnhart, Jr.. Devoted to her family, Shan was blessed simply by taking in the view of the West Penn Valley from her front porch, while watching and feeding the birds. If a free Sunday afternoon arrived, she looked forward to visiting with friends at Radical Winery in Lehighton. She was kind, devoted, and made people laugh. Her passing came quickly, and she will be sadly missed by all.
