Rose Marie Ellen (Quinn) Farber, 88 years of age of Newkirk, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2024, as a guest of Maple Shade Senior Living Ctr. in Nesquehoning.
Born Saturday, January 18, 1936 in Brockton, the daughter of the late William J., and Genevieve (Piller) Quinn. Rose was also predeceased by; husband, John J. Farber Sr.; son, John J. "Tully" Farber Jr.; brother, William Patrick Quinn.
Surviving are son, Daniel J. Farber and his wife Mary; daughters, Phyliss A. Miller, and Marilyn Jones; sister, Jacqueline DeCindio; grandchildren; Danny Farber and his companion Tammy (Hutria), Joel Farber, Jonthan A. Miller, Lisa A. Miller and her fiance Patrick McLaughlin, John J. Farber III, Stacie Betz, Sonya Ritter; great granddaughter, Autumn Farber; daughter-in-law Julie I. Farber. Nieces and nephews also survive Rose.
A member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua Rose was a homemaker, and especially proud of her Irish Heritage, She enjoyed watching Notre Dame football and the Dallas Cowboys. A task master to her children, she was a devoted loving nana to her grandchildren. Rose enjoyed the companionship of her Jack Russell Terrier "Becky".

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday July 11, 2024 at 11 o'clock A.M. from St. John XXIII R.C.C. 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252.
Friends may call on Thursday morning at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until 10:30 A.M.
Interment in Sky-View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
