Rose (Assalita) Bridygham, 87 yrs. of age, a lifetime resident of Reynolds, Walker Twp., died on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Schuylkill Medical Ctr. East in Pottsville.
Survived by her husband of 43 years, Earl Bridygham, Jr.
A 1942 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Rose worked for the former Atlas Powder Co. for 45 years as a wire setter.
Rose was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua. Known for her great sense of humor and her meatballs and spaghetti.
Born Wednesday July 21, 1926 in Reynolds, Walker Twp., she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Mary (Mariello) Assalita.
Also survived by a sister,
Millie Swartley of Tamaqua, and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Anna Burns, Mrs. Lucy Shalanta; brothers, Blase, Edward, John, Nello, and Carlo Assalita.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 o'clock A.M. on Friday March 28, 2014 from St. Jerome R.C.C. 266 West Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa. 18252.
