Ronald H. Yellets, age 79, of Lower Twp., Cape May County N.J., died peacefully Saturday, March 17, 2012, at home surrounded by his family while in their care.
Ron worked as a school bus aide for disabled children in Cape May.
He and his wife Linda had owned Ron's Fire House Bar in Lansford, Pa., which they operated from 1978 to 2000.
Ron was active in many volunteer fire companies.
He loved music and was an accomplished accordion player. Ron was an Elk member, and belonged to the Villas fishing club.
Born in West Conshohocken, he was the son of the late Howard and Florence (Lowery) Yellets.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda L. (Woodring) Yellets;
Daughter,
Melaine White of Allentown, Pa.;
Two Sons,
Ronald J. Yellets of Allentown, Pa.,
Bill J. Woodring and his wife Maria of Del Haven N.J.;
Four grandchildren, Amber, Aurora, Abraham, and Tanner;
Preceded in death by his brother, Robert Yellets.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday March 22, 2012 at 1 o'clock P.M. from the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc.
