Ronald M. Whetstone, 76 years of age of Rush Township, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale, Pennsylvania.
Born Tuesday, May 28, 1946 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late Norman Milton Whetstone ) , and Mary (King) Whetstone. Ronald was also predeceased by; brother, Harold Whetstone.
A Tamaqua Area High School graduate, Ronald served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Returning home, Ronald retired from the former Atlas Powder Co. of Reynolds. An avid outdoors-man who enjoyed hunting, and fishing, Ronald was a talented wood worker, and painter. He will be missed by his dog, and constant companion Ash.
Surviving are; son, Ronald S. Whetstone and his wife Claudia of Layton, UT,; daughter, Sharon Whetstone; grandchildren, Olivia M. Whetstone, and Fausto DeLmar Whetstone; brother, Norman Whetstone.
