Ronald D. Swanson

Mr. Ronald D. Swanson, age 70, of Cornerstone Drive New Ringgold, died July 5, 2010, at St. Lukes Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale.

A member of the Jehovah Wittness Kingdom Hall of Tamaqua, Ron was a truck driver for many years.

Born in Minneapolis, he was the son of the late Lyle and Marie (Rick) Swanson.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mrs. Cheryl A. (Chiquet) Swanson;

Two Daughters,
Heather A. (Swanson) Welker wife of Timothy,
Kayleen (Swanson) Bumberger both of Tamaqua;

One Brother,
Gary Swanson of California;

Sister,
Donna Housier wife of Jerry of Kentucky;

Step-mother,
Estella (Caballero) Swanson of New Ringgold;

Preceded in death by a grandson, Caleb Grimm; sisters, Judy Stratton, and Bonnie Swanson

Nine grandchildren
Eight great-grandchildren

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., New Ringgold, Pa..

Memorial Service will be at E. FranKlin Griffiths F.H., Inc. 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 10, 2010, Brother Dave Parke to give the talk.

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
